Cake Pricing and Portion Guide
Every wedding is unique. Cake pricing will vary depending on distance to venue, amount of cake you require,
the design and the inclusion of sugar flowers etc.
I want to ensure that your cake is of the highest quality, for this reason I will not take on any more than one wedding cake order on a specific date. A delivery and set up fee is included in the price of all cakes.
If you would like to place an order with me then a deposit of £100 secures your date. The remaining balance is required to be paid in full one month before your wedding date.
My standard 3 tier wedding cake is the most popular option and serves approx. 120.
3 Tier Naked, Semi-Naked and Buttercream start from £350.
3 Tier fondant covered range in price from £450-£500+
All fondant wedding cakes are covered in a layer of white chocolate ganache, this locks in freshness and ensures a smooth surface
for a flawless finish.
All My cakes are a generous 5” tall.
The following shows a portion guide for shapes and sizes of round and square cakes. Should you decide to serve your wedding cake as your main dessert then portion sizes will need to be adjusted.
The Consultation
I recommend consultations around 6 months before your wedding date with designs being finalised approx. 3 months before to allow for any changes you may wish.
Consultations are by appointment and can be held in my Cake Studio in Dromara where you can see sample cakes, sugar flowers, stencil work, cake lace, etc.
It may be more convenient to meet in a chosen coffee shop, at your wedding venue or via zoom or google meet, all of these options can be arranged.
Consultations last about 45 minutes, they are very informal, a cuppa and a chat! It’s a chance to share your vision for the day and gather ideas about cake style and design.
Inspirations for design can be taken from things like your invitations, dresses, flowers and venue.
Delivery
I want to take the stress away from you on your very special day. I work closely with the venue, and will deliver and set up the cake on the day of your wedding. Delivery and set up is included within 20 mile round trip and 45p per mile round trip for further distances.
